I'm Back!

I'm not sure how many posts I can begin with ,"Well I've been gone a while, sorry for the lack of updates," but here's another one.  :)

I've recently hit upon a new process of working (in Photoshop) using mainly the lasso tool, airbrush, gradients, and gradient mapping for coloring that I've really been enjoying and have started to develop an idea for a web comic in that style.

Been a little while

Whoops!  It seems I let the blerg updates slip over the holidays.  It wasn't so much the holidays themselves but the two video game art tests I had to work on during that time.  Unfortunately things didn't work out with either.  C'est la vie.  Anyway, heading into the new year with some hopeful thoughts and hard work.  Here's a few things I've been working on over the last couple of months.  Some ballpoint pen sketches, some "comic" rendered stuff, some ZBrush, and a self portrait.

I've been participating in #inktober this year, which is a daily ink drawing for the month of October.  Here's what's come out so far...I've been looking at a lot of Sergio Toppi :)

You guessed it, more ball point sketches!.  Seriously, ball point pen may be my favorite sketching medium.

Some traditional work (acrylics)

I realized I didn't have any of my traditional paintings up anywhere on the internet other than Facebook so I thought I'd scrabble together the images I do have and throw them up.  Sorry for the quality of the images, unfortunately most of these pieces are in storage currently.
